Frequently Asked
How does an engagement typically begin?
We start with a brief conversation — usually thirty to forty-five minutes — to understand the situation and determine whether a consulting engagement is the appropriate response. If it is, we prepare a scoped proposal within a few days.
Are your fees fixed or variable?
Fees are fixed per engagement and agreed in writing before work begins. All three of our current programmes carry a set price listed on the solutions page. There are no additional hourly charges or variable components.
What size of company do you typically work with?
Our engagements work well for companies in the HK$30M–HK$500M revenue range with established management teams. Smaller organisations may find the embedded model less suitable; for very large enterprises, the scope would need to be adjusted accordingly.
How much time is required from our team?
We aim to keep demands on your team to a minimum while still achieving meaningful outcomes. Typically, a weekly meeting with a senior contact plus access to relevant data is sufficient. The embedded model means we work around your schedule, not the other way around.
Is the work confidential?
Yes. A mutual confidentiality agreement is standard at the start of every engagement. Client names and details are not referenced externally without prior written consent.
Can engagements be combined or run in sequence?
They can. Some clients run the Knowledge Management Framework before beginning the Profit Improvement Programme, as better information capture supports the profit work. We are happy to discuss sequencing and whether a combined approach makes practical sense for your situation.
Do you work outside Hong Kong?
Our base is Central, Hong Kong, and most of our engagements are with organisations headquartered here or with significant HK operations. We can accommodate cross-border work within the Greater Bay Area on a case-by-case basis.
What happens at the end of an engagement?
Each engagement concludes with a written handover document and a closing session with your team. The materials produced during the engagement remain with you. Follow-on support is available but is scoped and priced separately.
